ASMUCAFE, which stands for Asociación de Mujeres Agropecuarias de Uribe, is an organization of women farmers and landowners in El Tambo, Cauca. Their collective mission is to improve their families' quality of life through coffee farming while positively contributing to their community through shared resources, knowledge, and support. Guided by values such as responsibility, honesty, commitment, respect, solidarity, and competitiveness, these women farmers have truly mastered their craft.

Our coffee, carefully crafted from Castillo or Colombia variety beans, is selected at the peak of ripeness – purple for Castillo cherries and bright red for Colombia cherries. It undergoes a unique "double" fermentation process, as described by the women. After spending 14 hours in loading hoppers, the cherries are depulped in the afternoon and evening and then placed into traditional open fermentation tanks for an additional 10 hours. Following meticulous washing, the beans are dried either in parabolic dryers or under the sun for 8-12 days.

The skilled women farmers of ASMUCAFE employ a washed processing method that enhances the natural attributes of the coffee, resulting in a harmonious balance of cocoa, lemon, and lime notes.
